Instrument to Detect the Attentiveness and Fatigue of Driver via Vibration System

Abstract

There are numerous gadgets and safety systems installed in modern vehicles, such as Automatic Braking Systems (ABS), airbags, fingerprint technology for car activation, distance sensors, and many more. These innovations aim to reduce fatalities during accidents or even prevent accidents altogether. Governments, for instance, have launched various road safety campaigns, and the police continuously enforce speed limits to discourage speeding. However, the results have not been encouraging. The system we are proposing could, in a meaningful way, help reduce the rising number of road accidents, particularly those caused by fatigued drivers who are a significant contributor to road fatalities.
